CARE & MAINTENANCE
Leather is a wonderful, natural material that can last a lifetime when cared for properly, here’s a couple of tips to help your item last for years to come.
Do not leave in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time
Try to limit the amount of water that the item has contact with
Gently wipe away dry dirt with a dry cloth
Use a dampened cloth on small stains and marks, allow to air dry
Condition well, this does not need to be done too often and you will be able to tell by sight when the leather is starting to look a little dry. Use a good quality conditioner, rather than oils such as Neatsfoot, as this can block the pores of the leather and cause it to degrade over time. I recommend Renapur balsam which uses natural ingredients.
LIFETIME GUARANTEE
Although leather can last a lifetime, that amount of use can take its toll on items. I offer a lifetime guarantee on all of my products, stitching and hardware included. I will not replace leather that has been damaged to the point of holes or worn through, but can discuss adding a patch to celebrate the story of the item.
